There are approximately 90,000 strands like this in one square inch of microfiber cloth. Unlike ordinary cleaning cloths that only move or push the dirt and dust from one point to another, microfiber cloths actually "moves" the dirt or stain from the surface, and then stores the the dirt particles in the towel until it is rinsed out or washed. You can wash the towel in the laundry with any detergent you prefer, but NEVER use any type of FABRIC SOFTENER . This will cause the towel to be less effective.
